Rigid Underlays- Discontinuous Roofing Sheets - EN 14964
Systems of assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP) to be applied for bitumen-based rigid underlays used under non-continuous roof coatings are determined according to the following tables in accordance with the definitions given in the EN 14964 standard.

Systems of assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP) - EN 14964
As the bitumen-based sheets “rigid underlays- discontinuous roofing sheets” will have reaction to fire class E; it turns out that the systems of assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP) of these products is system 3. Only fire-related properties of the products with reaction to fire class F need to be evaluated within system 4. No fire test is required for class F products. Accordingly, in the EN 14964 standard, which covers the relevant product groups, the duties of the producers within the scope of system 3 are determined by the table given below.

Tasks under the responsobility of the manufacturer |
Factory product control (FPC) |
Parameters related to characteristics of Table ZA.1 and ZA.1.3 |
Initial type testing by the manufacturer |
All relevant characteristics of Table ZA.1, relevant for the intended use, except reaction to fire and dangerous substances |

Initial type testing by a notified test laboratory |
Reaction to fire (A1,A2,B,C)**, D,E and dangerous substances |
Duties within the scope of system 3 for EN 14964
Tests Required to be Performed by Notified Laboratories: For these products included in System 3, the control activities of the notified test laboratory, under the responsibility of the manufacturer, are limited to dangerous substance and reaction to fire. The manufacturer is responsible for the application of other tests given in the ZA.1 table.
